SPE has refined this mid-mount, factory-style system through years of development. It’s adjustable from 3 to 50 PSI and supports performance levels from ~600 HP to well over 2,000 HP, whether your goal is a responsive street build or a record-setting drag car.
Turbocharger Options
Every turbo option is selected for horsepower, drivability, and reliability—no cheap cast-wheel, journal-bearing units. SPE designs and manufactures platform-forward turbos that scale with your goals.
P6266 / P6466 / P6766 — The P60 series drives exceptionally well with turbines optimized for Ford 5.0L/5.2L. As compressor size increases, lag rises with the trade-off of more power. A P6766 pair supports a verified 1,800+ HP while maintaining street manners.
Hot Side
Factory manifolds retained: In turbo applications they flow enough for ~2,000 HP, so SPE engineered high-flow turbo adapters using CFD to transition from the factory header flange to the turbo flange while prioritizing wastegate and turbo flow for control and spool.
Cast stainless construction: After billet testing, final production moved to cast stainless for the best blend of performance and value.
Cold Side (Fresh Air)
High-flow filters, tucked: Positioned up and away from debris/weather while maintaining surface area for high horsepower.
Intercooler: The largest bolt-on unit that fits without modifying the car—built around a vertical 6" core with 3/16" TIG-welded sheet-metal end tanks and billet hose ends.
Charge piping: HD clamp adapter at the throttle body eliminates visible silicone couplers underhood.
Billet MAF housing: Matches factory size (by trim/spec) and placement for accurate resolution, delivering OE-like drivability in the lower half of the MAF table and faster, more consistent tuning.
Oil System
Billet low-mount scavenge reservoirs: CFD-optimized for proper oil control with full O-ring sealing (no gaskets or silicone). Acts as tank + sump to keep hoses submerged and pumps efficient.
Brass gear return pump with a lifetime warranty.
No drilling, no tapping: Oil returns via a billet oil cap with integrated AN swivel fitting—you can still refill through the cap. No hoses removed, no permanent modifications.
Installation
As straightforward as a mid-pipe swap: The most time-consuming step is removing the bumper to mount the intercooler (uses four factory bolts).
Minimal trimming only (belly pans or grille shutters, if equipped). The final result looks like it came turbocharged from Ford—and it’s fully reversible.
